First Resort delivers tailor-made services to home owners year round. Our easily recognisable logo and name conveys our pride in being a Swiss company: we work solely in Verbier as we believe local knowledge is one of the keys to good service.

First Resort started five years ago as a services company, offering everything from cleaners to post checking to project management. We are now expanding into the world of property finding and professional laundry, offering you an ever more complete list of services

Who we are

First Resort is run by Nicola Burstall who has 15 years experience in administration and hospitality. Having worked for a luxury ski holiday company as assistant hotel manager and then as a chef in one of their flagship chalets, she realised there was a gap in the market for offering similar services to private chalet owners. During her years in Verbier she has created a network of trustworthy and efficient suppliers as well as a team of highly trained housekeepers, chefs and babysitters.

We are on hand to look after our clients year round: no job is too small or too big. We have the experience, the staff and the energy to fulfil your requests. Due to our extensive network we hear of properties for sale and rent before they are on the open market. We can thus offer you the perfect solution to your request before others can. Should you wish to rent out your property through us we can also act as your concierge: we already have detailed knowledge of your chalet enabling a much smoother handover to rental clients. We can also offer a daily check and clean to ensure your property is being looked after and, if required, place full time chalet staff. This year we are also opening our own First Resort professional laundrette. Our aim is to offer great service without the usual niggles that come from the larger laundry services: no lost or muddled laundry, a decent turnaround time and experienced and professional staff. We will also be happy to suggest ways to work more efficiently together to make your laundry life less hassle.

We have complete confidence in our recommendations and we work closely with a few trusted suppliers to deliver a better level of service to you. We pride ourselves on our detailed knowledge of your chalet and requirements, and on our ability to create long-lasting relationships with all our clients.
